A link or a QR code

Every time capsule has a link you can copy and send. Its QR code is a scannable version of that link. Neither method bypasses a private audience or the opening conditions.

Adding people

You can bring others in to help. When you add someone, you choose what they can do:

Can edit. They can add memories and shape the capsule with you.
Can view. They can look, but not change anything.

The people you add need an Abeduls account so the capsule shows up for them.

Who can actually open it

A private capsule always asks visitors to sign in and be added, so a stray link on its own won’t open it. A public capsule opens for anyone with the link, once the moment arrives.

Common questions

Can I invite someone who doesn’t have an account?

You can send a collaborator invitation by email. The recipient follows the invitation and signs in or creates an account to continue. A public time capsule can be shared by link, subject to its opening conditions.

Can two of us edit at the very same moment?

Yes. Collaborators with edit access can work on the same canvas page in real time and see each other’s cursors. Local photos need to be uploaded before other collaborators can see them.

Can I keep a capsule private?

Yes. Keep it “just for you” or “for someone else,” and it stays closed to everyone except the people you add.
