Protecting uploaded memories

Uploaded content is encrypted in storage and in transit. In Chrome, Edge and Brave, photos imported through the Local tab stay on this device until you confirm an upload. Upload selected photos when you want collaborators to see them.

Only the people you choose can see it

A private time capsule is restricted to its owner and the people granted access. Roles determine who can help edit or view its content.

A time capsule’s selected date, date range, password, question, or quiz is checked on the server. Its access rules and opening conditions both apply when someone follows a link.

We watch over things around the clock

We back everything up, keep an eye out for problems day and night, and review our security regularly.
